Last year, Wade Kach co-sponsored Don Dwyer’s proposed amendment to the Maryland Constitution that would have defined marriage in the state as between one man and one woman.

This year he was the deciding vote in passing gay marriage through the Maryland House of Delegates.

Kach claimed he changed his mind after hearing the testimony from same-sex couple in Annapolis.  But Kach heard extremely similar testimonies last year in the house, and decided to co-sponsor a bill against same-sex marriage.

It has been rumored by several sources that Kach was offered a six-figure government job from Martin O’Malley in the days prior to the vote.

It appears that in exchange for money, Wade Kach sold out his district, his state, his heritage and his religion.  Kach is a disgrace to his seat and a disgrace to the party; he is a pathetic excuse for a Republican and a pathetic excuse for a man.

If you are upset about gay marriage becoming law in Maryland, call the worst man in Maryland and express your outrage.

Wade Kach can be reached at (410) 841-3359 or (410) 527-1962.  If you prefer to write him an email here is his address: a.wade.kach@house.state.md.us

GOD WILL NOT ME MOCKED. And this man has brought a curse on himself, his children, and his children’s children. GOD keeps HIS COVENANTS.

  2. Louisa Says:

Just a quick point of correction, HB474 is this years marriage protection act which makes it all the more obvious that Wade switched sides very recently.

  3. JackieLynn Wellfonder Says:

It’s just so disappointing. I don’t know how he’s living with himself. I hope the whole job offer scenario isn’t true, but I’ve read that in multiple sources. I just don’t get how someone can make such a radical change and go against everything they say they believe in.

  4. Frank Says:

Wow Wade you just got FLAMED. Thank you for supporting the continuing movement for deterioration of our state and our country. I hope you’re happy with yourself you coward.

  5. Amy Says:

We here in Anne Arundel County think Bob Costa is the worst man in Maryland. He sold his soul to the Devil.

  6. Louisa Says:

Yes, Wade did co-sponsor the Constitutional Marriage Amendment last year as well. seen here:
    http://mlis.state.md.us/2011RS/billfile/HB0963.htm
I’m betting that you can go back years and find him having co-sponsored that bill.

I am beginning to wonder if the gas tax hike was inserted into Maryland politics to take people’s eye off the
Same-Sex “Marriage” actions in the General Assembly.

I cannot plead with my State Senator or Assemblymen because they are the promoters of this: Raskin, Hucker, Hixson and Mizeur.

I understand that a referendum may be on the ballot (but when?) to overturn this; but is any group taking action in the courts?

  8. Nancy Says:

I was very disppointed to learn that the people’s voice is silent. Take this to referrendum and let the people of the State of Maryland decide….

  9. Ruth Ann Rousey Says:

And you are surprised? Nothing that happens in Annapolis surprises me anymore. What does surprise me is that the citizens of Maryland continue to put these people back in office.

  10. Bill Says:

I am so dissapointed that we have wolves in sheeps clothing like this RINO. He is not a conservation…I have been so sick to my stomach that we alow this to have that changes the course in Maryland politics (i.e., dysfuntional Maryland Politics). If true this should be against the law paying for a persons vote both by the giver and the receiver!

  11. Esther Nicholson Says:

Wade Kasch is among others in the Maryland Assembly who put politics over principles in their lives. It is damaging to society. Let the people Vote!

  12. Ann Says:

Wow, very disenchanting… If he did take money or a job, which is considered a bribe… well Wow, is all I can say

  13. Ann Says:

also, being a newbie to all of this.. I have trouble w the electoral maps and figuring out who represens what geographically.. sometimes even what district I am in! Those Maryland Election sites are absolutely USELESS!!!!!! Does anyone know a better tool out there? I think more people like me would pay attention if they knew who.what were representing them..

  14. mimi Says:

This is disturbing- what a sellout. But, this seems to be the norm right now in politics, esp Maryland politics. Well, let’s go to referendum. We did it last summer; we can do it again with a lot of hard work.

  15. Don Honeywell Says:

Any law inconsistent with God’s Law-order is null and void.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness.” Isaiah 5:20.
This is God’s Covenant Law-suit against covenant-breakers who have no fear of God before their eyes.

  16. Brenda Smith Says:

Thank you for not representing the majority of Maryland citizens. We will fight to bring this to referrendum in 2012 and will do everything within our power to put you out of office.

  17. Michael Says:

Last February (2011) I was at a public meeting at the Jacksonville Elementary School which was hosted by Delegate Pat McDonough and Delegate Wade Kach.

At that meeting Delegate Kach told a homosexual woman that, “He believed in traditional marriage.” He went on to say that he was raised to believe that marriage was between one man and one woman. He said he didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, “… but for me it’s a matter of conscience.”

God help those in the wedding industry who want to deny their services to a same-sex couple. They can be fined and sued under MD Law 20-304. So much for religious freedom.

  18. Linda Says:

God will not be mocked and these votes will be remembered unless those involved turn from their wicked ways. I guess the almighty dollar is more important than your soul, your integrity and the respect of the people. We will fight for a referendum in 2012.

Are you talking about the God or the Devil. It gets kind of hard to tell you Christians on the right pray to.

Since the rich need more tax cuts they can’t get into heaven with.

  20. SHARKSBREATH Says:

These GOD laws get broken everyday. Have you noticed any curses by our God being done. Besides when you guys voted for Bush. We sure were cursed for 8 years.

Don’t let cattle graze with other kinds of Cattle (Leviticus 19:19)

Don’t have a variety of crops on the same field. (Leviticus 19:19)

Don’t wear clothes made of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19)

Don’t cut your hair nor shave. (Leviticus 19:27)

Any person who curseth his mother or father, must be killed. (Leviticus 20:9) Have you ever done that?

If a man cheats on his wife, or vise versa, both the man and the woman must die. (Leviticus 20:10). I wonder if Dr. Laura would like that one to be enforced?

If a man sleeps with his father’s wife… both him and his father’s wife is to be put to death. (Leviticus 20:11)

If a man sleeps with his wife and her mother they are all to be burnt to death. (Leviticus 20:14)

If a man or woman has sex with an animal, both human and animal must be killed. (Leviticus 20:15-16). I guess you should kill the animal since they were willing participants. Are they crazy?

If a man has sex with a woman on her period, they are both to be “cut off from their people” (Leviticus 20:18)

Psychics, wizards, and so on are to be stoned to death. (Leviticus 20:27)

If a priest’s daughter is a whore, she is to be burnt at the stake. (Leviticus 21:9)

People who have flat noses, or is blind or lame, cannot go to an altar of God (Leviticus 21:17-18)

Anyone who curses or blasphemes God, should be stoned to death by the community. (Leviticus 24:14-16)

Don’t let cattle graze with other kinds of Cattle (Leviticus 19:19)

One must wonder why there are so many people wanting to site Leviticus for gay bashing, but they never mention these rules. How strange. It is common that a Christian will blow off these old rules with “Jesus came to change the laws, so these are outmoded, and we don’t need them”, but throughout Leviticus God states that these laws are to be followed forever. Hmmm.

  21. SHARKSBREATH Says:

I’ve got some more laws for you.

The book Deuteronomy also lays some laws down, but nobody ever mentions them, but why not take a look at those laws also?

Anyone who dreams or prophesizes anything that is against God, or anyone who tries to turn you from God, is to be put to death. (Deuteronomy 13:5)

If anyone, even your own family suggests worshipping another God, kill them. (Deuteronomy 13:6-10)

If you find out a city worships a different god, destroy the city and kill all of it’s inhabitants… even the animals. (Deuteronomy 13:12-15)

Kill anyone with a different religion. (Deuteronomy 17:2-7)

This shows you that it really is scary that people want to make the Bible part of the law. Not to mention it sheds light on why Christians are so overly oppressive to those who don’t share their belief. Sick, sick, sick. It can also be said that any person who uses the Bible to justify beating a homosexual, is a hypocrite if he doesn’t adhere to all of these laws.

You freaking freaks. You people have no idea how insane you sound. Just like the Bible.

  22. ROBERT WEITZEL SR. Says:

WADE KACH SOLD HIS VOTE FOR 30 PIECES OF SILVER, AND HE SOLD HIS SOUL TO O’MALLEY!

  23. Bill Easten Says:

    Wade Kach,

I hope that you can sleep at night for selling out your party and those that supported you and thought that you were a true conservative (NOT!). I hope that you are ready to find another line of work. May God forgive you for what you have done, because I won’t!

  24. Robert Duvall Says:

It’s politicians like this that make me ashamed to be a Republican. Spineless Self-Serving Serpent. Kach: Judas ain’t got NOTHING on YOU.

  25. Two Sentz Says:

The New Testament (you know, the new and everlasting covenant that Jesus came to establish?) also says sexual immorality is wrong, and obvious. Even the science lovers have to admit that homosexuality doesn’t make sense from a biological or physiological standpoint. In the grand order (or even random order as some like to claim) it serves no evolutionary or genetic purpose.

The point of the old Levitical law was to show that NO ONE can fully uphold the law, that we are ALL sinners, and that we ALL need redemption. Jesus gave us that free gift and he left us with to rules: Love God with all you mind, you heart, and your soul, and love your neighbor as you love yourself.

And by the way Clayton, not all Christians or conservatives or Republicans are rich.
