The left has always believed that everyone must think the same “freethinking” way they do. Watch this video for an example of what may soon become commonplace in Maryland public schools.
By legalizing same-sex marriage, the left is not only redefining marriage, it is legislating the acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle. Unless the referendum is successful, state law will recognize a homosexual relationship as equal to a heterosexual relationship. A Christian worldview will then be contrary to public law and, therefore, actions similar to those of the teacher in the above video will be justified.
The same-sex marriage bill was originally named the “Freedom From Religion Act” for a reason. The left has never sought equal time or a healthy discussion. That is why evolution is taught as fact in Maryland public schools while prayer is banned. Same sex marriage is the next step in fully removing our Christian heritage from our public lives.
Christians should not be discriminated against for their faith in a country that they founded. Homosexuals have the right to exist and the right to privacy. They do not have the right to force their lifestyle on us and our children. They do not have a right to redefine our religious institutions such as marriage. Hate Crime Legislation is wrong, and has been wrong. A good example of Hate crime legislation gone wrong is the Black Mob brutalizing two White Reporters in Va. Beach. Somehow or another it has not been mentioned as a Hate Crime.
A similar example is the “Dan Savage” anti-Bullying speaking tour, where he, (a member of the Gay Community) actually Bullies Christians simply because they don’t agree with him. If they did it to him it would be a “Hate Crime”, but if he does it to them, it is not!
Opening Pandora’s Box of Hate Crime is wrong. All crime is “Hate Crime”, and should be treated equally and blindly as our Constitution calls for. Nobody must get special treatment, or special LAWS.
The Maryland Marriage Law is in fact a Hate Crime Law that will target Christians, simply because they are against the Gay Lifestyle. Marriage Must Be Kept, one man and one woman.

Sam- I definitely agree with you here. It is unbelievable that the teacher in question has no respect for the Constitution, and is blatantly pushing a far-Left agenda. One must remember that Karl Marx stated that 3 things must occur in order to create a socialist dictatorship of the proletariat: Elimination of all private property. Breakdown of the family unit. Elimination of religion (“The opiate of the masses”). The reason why the leftist Democrats support same sex marriage is because it helps advance the Marxist agenda. The fact that some Democratic legislators laugh when you call them Communists takes nothing from the fact that their agenda (shown by their legislative record and public statements) originates there. Same sex marriage is just a means to an end.

while i disagree with the teachers actions, and i think it was horrible do defame a 14 year old boy like that, hes just a young man.. and when you are a teenager your emotions are unstable .. he did not deserve that sort of slander and treatment for expressing his beliefs.
However I disagree with the story on this website and on the video. Same sex marriage does not redefine marriage, as there is no evidence ever written that said marriage was solely between a man and a woman… that was simply made up by the church, and there is a seperation of church and state… so i dont think the church has any business in peoples private lives or in laws.
