The deadline to have the first third of the required 57,000+ signatures for the redistricting and marriage petitions is at the end of May. If you have not signed either petition do you part for your state and country this Memorial Day Weekend! Please take the time to sign and mail your signatures immediately.
Redistricting Petition:
We have the opportunity to stop the gerrymandering and create winnable congressional and legislative districts in Maryland. This petition, however, does not currently have the required signatures on hand to meet their May deadline. Please go to www.mdpetitions.com to print your petition. The technology on www.mdpetitons.com also makes it simple to quickly collect signatures from members of your household and neighbors. Collect as many as you can, but make sure your petitions reach the required mailing address before the end of May!
Marriage Petition:
The petition to stop Maryland’s gay marriage law by putting it on the ballot has successfully met its 1/3 requirement for May. We still need your help to make sure we meet our final deadline and make a statement with our total. Please be sure to sign this petition as well and gather signatures from your family, neighbors and coworkers.
