The left has regrouped and rewritten their bill to legalize same-sex marriage in Maryland. Committee hearings on the bill will begin next week and the Maryland Marriage Alliance will hold a rally on Monday. Your action is needed to protect our state from radical, unpopular and unwanted social change
Marriage Rally: Monday, January 30th
Delegate Dwyer and the Maryland Marriage Alliance will hold a rally in Annapolis, from 6-8pm, on Monday, January 30th. Join us on Lawyers Mall (in front of the Maryland State House) and show your opposition to this destructive legislation.
The Rally has been scheduled in the evening to make it more convenient to attend. The legislature will be in session Monday night as well, so your voice will be heard by your representatives.
Feel free to bring a sign or wear your MSOP T-Shirts!
Senate Testimony: Tuesday, January 31st
The first of two committees in the senate will begin hearings on the new same-sex marriage bill this Tuesday. The Senate Judicial Committee is scheduled to begin testimony at 1pm, in the Senate Building at 11 Bladen Street in Annapolis.
Every Marylander has the right to testify before these committees. Read you testimony directly to the committee or submit it in written form. Verbal testimony will be limited to 2 minutes, if you wish to submit written testimony please provide 20 copies.
The outpouring of testimony and support for traditional marriage was vital to stopping this bill last year. If you are available please attend and show your support. Homosexual/Transgender rights groups should be out in force, make sure you are there early if you would like to give verbal testimony.
